BANNED BOOK READING LOG
BANNED BOOK VIDEO
Q. 1) how challenging was this project for you? This project was pretty easy-going to me. The most difficult thing really was just finding the time to read the book I had chosen. At the time I am writing this reflection, I have yet to finish the last four chapters of my 597 page book. However, I do feel like I was motivated to read my book swiftly to sooner arrive at the end. The work was not terribly large by any means. It was straight-forward with small, achievable goals. I really enjoyed this project, because it generally was relaxed, even though we did have actual measurable work to do.

q. 2) what was the easiest part of this project?
I think the easiest part was the reading it's self. I really enjoy the book I'm reading. The only issue was finding time to read at home. I read any free opportunity I had since the book was so captivating. The homework was easy because we were instructed to do things I like doing
q. 3) how comfortable did you feel while making your film?
The level of comfort I felt? Like I was in a spa. Video making is one of my specialties and I hope it translates into my aspirations of film making in the future. I first picked up a camcorder with a disk slot when I was 4 years old, I started making short stop motion films when I was 9 years old, and now I make near professional grade short films for film festivals around the globe. Suffice to say I was pretty at home with picking up a camera.
q. 4) what feedback did you RECEIVE?
I got feedback on the banned book reading responses. The critique I received helped me to take up different perspectives on what I'd written so I could add clarity to my work.
q. 5) what kind of feedback did you give?
I gave feedback to Wyatt and Jeremy's reading responses. I focused on correct grammar, and spelling.
q. 6) did you actually read the book you chose?
Yes, for the most part. I still have to finish the last few pages on my own.
q. 7) What grade do you think you deserve? why?
I believe that I deserve an A+ because of my consistency with turning in quality work on time. I feel like I put a substantial amount of effort into my work. I did a whole lot of reading and went in depth on the reading responses. I honestly believe that I put the most effort into the banned book video where I feel like most people may have fallen short. I met all requirements that I know of for a grade A.
q. 8) what would you change about this project?
Honestly, I really enjoyed this project. It was really fun, I learned a lot and got in a lot more reading than I'd normally read in that amount of time. I had fun making the video and the whole project was not very stressful as long as I stayed on top of my work. In the past, we've had projects that were very stressful with not much content being learned. This project directly contrasts to those types of projects. We learned a lot and weren't stressed as opposed to learning very little while being stressed for no reason.
